Muscle strength is only good when you can optimise it in your sporting movements.
And interestingly only when your sporting movements (running, swinging, jumping etc) are proper that you can expose your muscles to maximum strength.
Therefore, focus on your movements first as not only it would fetch you better results in sport but also expose your muscles for maximum strengthening.
