Dear Reader,
I have been working/researching/studying the subject of back for a few years now figuring out ways and means to keep the entire batch – package of back muscles healthy. Besides being injury prone (lower back, shoulder, neck etc), our back plays a very important role in our movements or postural stability/balance. Our lower back is a pivot point for all arm and back movements. It is the foundation for our upper body for any force coming up from the ground. Therefore it is of vital importance in sporting movements and otherwise.
Be it a yogic perspective, human movement science understanding, or strength & conditioning take; in my opinion, the back needs a good combination of all three + biomechanics.
