WE SHOULD NOT REPLICATE SPORT MOVEMENTS IN TRAINING. There are different ways to train our movements by working on muscles/joints/ligaments/tendons.
People often mistake understanding ‘sport specific’ training. Any training that facilitates the sporting movements is called ‘sport specific’ training. It doesn’t not mean replicating sport movements.
Example: In the video you will see how this athlete manages to secure a good take off position immediately. This is what we call ‘stance to push’ movement and it is very common in cricket. Hence sport specific.
