WE SHOULD NOT REPLICATE SPORT MOVEMENTS IN TRAINING. There are different ways to train our movements by doing movement specific training.
People often mistake understanding ‘sport specific’ training. Any training that facilitates the sporting movements is called ‘sport specific’ training. It doesn’t not mean replicating sport movements.
Example: In the video you will see how this athlete manages to secure a good take off position immediately. This is what we call ‘stance to push’ movement and it is very common in cricket where a player is never sure of the position they may have to take off.
